Cheap Police And Bank Impound Cars and Trucks For Sale
If you are in the market for a new car or truck you will want to rethink what you’ve previously though about police auto auctions. Police impound auctions are HOT right now.
People are not just losing their homes, they are losing the vehicles as well. This is sad for the person without a car, but highly beneficial for the individual looking to buy a newer used car with low millage.
Some of the most common vehicles found in police impound autions are newer cars, sports cars, and other highly expensive autos that are in high demand. The only thing wrong with them is that the owner could no longer afford to make the payments. The police or banks came looking for the vehicle and now they are turning around and selling it in auto auctions to try and make their money back.
Other cars and trucks found at police auctions are vehicles that may have been involved in a crime. We’re not talking about Bonnie and Clyde cars all shot up with bullets, but some that just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. A brand new beautiful sports car may have found itself involved in a crime where there was no damaged involved. In fact the original owner may have loved their car, but was nevertheless involved in something not so good.
So now this car has been taken by the police and their next step is to auction it off. A $20k car can be yours for $4k. Seriously, this happens regularly at police auto auctions. ALWAYS bring a car price guide book with you so that you can check out blue book values and know how much you want to pay.
It is beneficial to go through the auction cars list and to put the amount of your bid that you would like to make, and the highest bid you will go. Remember you may not get your first choice car at the police auction, so pick out 5 to 6 favorites. These auctions will generally have 20, 50, even as many as 100 cars up for auction at any one time so there are plenty to choose from.
If your concerned at all about the car you want to buy, bring a mechanic friend. All cars sold in the auction will be available to public inspection before the auction starts.
