Incomplete Order,
I received my package last week and found that the “combo” only included the half of the fishing pole that had the reel attached. How do you pack an order for a rod and reel combo and send only half of the rod? It should be pretty obvious that you can’t fish with half a pole, so why pack half a pole?
I don’t have time to monkey around with sending it back or trying to get the missing half as this is a Christmas gift. Now I have to go buy a pole that I already bought.
I won’t make this mistake again.

|great reel, rod okay,
I have been sold on Zebco for years. There is nothing better, in my opinion. I have 5 different versions of the 33, 733, and the Hawg Seeker (a big cat version of the Bite Alert). The Bite Alert reel is a cool piece of new technology. Very easy to adjust how sensitive you want the alarm. The reel fits nicely in the palm, not too heavy or awkward. I fish with multiple poles so this alarm system is great. It detects any kind of pressure on the line. Not so sensitive that the wind will set it off! I bought this set-up mostly for night fishing, but it’s a pleasure to use during the day, as well. One downer= the battery was dead when I got it.
Now for the rod. I like the composition of the rod, great color-with the nearly clear at the end. Makes for better visualization at night. My biggest complaint is weight. The reel is light, and the pole is heavy. The length makes it worse. If you like a 6′ pole, this will work great for you. If you prefer to be able to easily place your line wherever you want, this thing is too long.
Overall, great combo at a great price. Get one. You won’t regret it. It’s a cool toy.
